Through the innovative use of modern production and AI tools, the Gratex Media Team at Gratex International has successfully revived decades-old musical ideas originally written in Bratislava's "500 bytov." Their work on the Roasted Ducks Project has now been honored in Hollywood, with the music video for "I Don't Love You" securing a festival award for Best Storytelling.
The project highlights the intersection of technology and art. The festival jury specifically praised the video's ability to tell a compelling story, noting that the project's success stems from the human creative process – rhythm, atmosphere, and pacing - rather than just the utilization of artificial intelligence."With the Roasted Ducks Project, we don't want to hide the use of artificial intelligence.
On the contrary. We want to show that AI doesn't have to replace humans, but can instead open up much more space for their own creativity. It allows us to do things that until recently would have been almost out of reach in terms of time or money. In this case, it helped bring a real human archive out into the world, which otherwise might never have seen the light of day," says Jozef Kožár, CEO of Gratex International.
