Energy

We build software for Slovakia’s energy sector, from utilities and distribution operators to national market infrastructure. These are systems where downtime is not an option and every dataset has to be auditable.

Our flagship reference in this space is the national Energy Data Centre (EDC), delivered in partnership with IPESOFT. It went live in 2023, reached full functionality ahead of EU regulatory deadlines, and has since absorbed a multiple increase in data volume without a change to its architecture.

Our energy capabilities

  • Energy sharing
Flexible allocation methods between members of sharing groups

  • Flexibility aggregation and storage
Including registration and operation of storage assets

  • Active customers and energy communities
    Relationship and membership management

  • Master data, metering and settlement
The data foundations for billing and clearing

  • Integrations at national scale
With grid operators, metering and billing systems, and market organiser platforms

Case Study

National Energy Data Centre

The central platform behind energy sharing in Slovakia, delivered with IPESOFT.

The challenge

EU regulation gave households, businesses and communities the right to share energy. Someone had to build the central data infrastructure that makes it work: reliably, transparently, nationwide.

“A multiple increase in data volume, with no change to the architecture.”

The Solution

In partnership with IPESOFT, a complete energy data ecosystem covering sharing, flexibility aggregation, storage, energy communities, master data and settlement, plus the integrations that connect it to the rest of the market.

The part nobody sees

Behind the visible functionality sits the work that decides whether the whole ecosystem is trustworthy: data quality management, migration of incomplete and outdated records, and identity matching against national reference registers. Raw, inconsistent inputs become verified master data. It is the most valuable and most transferable part of the solution.

“Not a one-off delivery. A foundation the energy market can keep building on.”

Built for people who are not experts

Users arrive with very different levels of technical knowledge. Process guides, contextual help and a design that makes wrong steps hard to take mean faster onboarding and lower support cost, even as client numbers grow sharply.

Trust and security

Registration and signing can use state electronic identity and qualified electronic signatures recognised across the EU under eIDAS, giving legal certainty equal to a handwritten signature.
