InnovAIte Slovakia Project Officially Launched

Gratex International is proud to announce the official launch of InnovAIte Slovakia – a flagship national initiative connecting top-tier AI research with industry application – marked by a Kick-off Conference at the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI SR).

Backed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) of the Slovak Republic, InnovAIte Slovakia unites 11 consortium partners, 2 foreign excellence centres, and 4 key industry domains in a 30-month effort to bridge the gap between laboratory research and real-world deployment. Gratex joins fellow universities, research institutes, and industry leaders in delivering trustworthy, ethics-by-design AI solutions across software development, insurance, energy-efficient buildings, and vision-based traffic safety.

The Kick-off Conference convened more than 60 participants for technical discussions, domain-specific workshops, and the inaugural meetings of the Project Management Board and Scientific Council. With governance structures, coordination tools, and international collaboration mechanisms now in place, the consortium is ready to translate its shared vision into measurable outcomes – new prototypes, licensable IP, spin-off opportunities, and a stronger AI talent pipeline for Slovakia and Europe.
