Insurance claims are complex. They involve facts, policies, regulations, and judgement calls – often all at once. That's exactly the challenge the GNOTHEIA ecosystem, developed within the InnovAIte Slovakia project by Gratex International, is designed to address.
GNOTHEIA – an AI ecosystem designed to enhance the processing of insurance claims. The solution was formally presented at the InnovAIte Slovakia project's second conference, AI Synergy: Connecting Research, Industry, and Regional Innovation, held in Žilina on 29 April 2026.
GNOTHEIA operates on the principle of human-in-the-loop AI: the system prepares a structured polycontext for each claim – integrating the factual circumstances of the event, applicable insurance coverage artefacts, and all relevant business rules – enabling claims experts to make faster, more informed, and consistently documented decisions. The final determination, however, always rests with a qualified human professional.
